When I finally stop worrying.

Many people treat money confidence as a destination they'll eventually reach.

But what if confidence isn't something you arrive at?

What if it's something you're already practicing in small ways every day?

After working with clients for years, I've noticed that real money confidence rarely looks the way people expect.

It's often found in the willingness to have difficult conversations, make thoughtful decisions, learn from mistakes, and continue moving forward without requiring perfect certainty.

When people talk about student loans, the conversation usually focuses on numbers.

But in my work as a financial therapist, I’ve seen how often the deeper struggle is emotional.

For many people, debt carries:

• emotional exhaustion

Many of us believe that peace is waiting on the other side of the next financial milestone.

“I’ll feel better when I pay off the debt.”

“When I finally make more money.”

“When I reach a certain number in savings.”

And those milestones absolutely matter.

But after years of working with people around money, I’ve noticed something:

The next milestone often brings relief…

but not always peace.

Because peace doesn't necessarily come from a number.

It can come from feeling grounded, trusting yourself, understanding your relationship with money, and feeling emotionally safe around it.

Many women entrepreneurs are not struggling because they’re “bad with money.”

They’re struggling because they’re carrying stress, fear, shame, avoidance, pressure, and emotional exhaustion around money… while simultaneously trying to run a business.

And most people never talk about that part.

I’ve worked with women who:

• avoid paying themselves
• put off looking at their numbers
• feel anxious every time they open their bank account
• undercharge because they fear losing clients
• delay building a business plan because they’re afraid of what it might reveal
• feel successful on the outside, but deeply overwhelmed internally

This is one of the reasons I believe financial therapy can have such a powerful impact on business owners.

Because money decisions are rarely just about math.

They’re often connected to:

• self-worth
• safety
• perfectionism
• burnout
• scarcity
