We just left Fayetteville, Arkansas after moving our oldest daughter into college. It’s exciting and emotional all at the same time. With so many things going on it’s no wonder that having her sign a Power of Attorney to allow her mother or I to be able to act on her behalf with the University or if there was a medical emergency never crossed my mind.

I’ve drafted numerous Powers of Attorney for clients along the years whose 18 year old was moving out of the house. An adult in age, but not quite “adult” enough to handle absolutely everything.

Give me a call if these never crossed your mind as well.
