History

A small, precocious 8 year girl named Mary Aruffo came to America from Italy in 1920. She settled in south eastern Pennsylvania and became the first woman to get her insurance brokerage license. In 1940 and quite ahead of her time, she opened Aruffo-Rim Agency in Linwood, PA. Aruffo-Rim Agency offered insurance, real estate, tax and notary services. Mary married and her husband, Anthony R

im joined the business in 1950. In 1976 her son, John Anthony Rim, started working in the family run business. As of 2017, Aruffo-Rim Agency has been in business for 77 years. Servicing over 1500 clients Nationwide, the business remains a communial hub for the surrounding communities, offering professional guidance and counsel in all acspects of insurance, taxes and notary document preparation. In the tradition of Mary, John and his team consisting of his daughter Mary Beth, Pam, Bill and Johnny B continue to offer individual care to each client. They look forward to helping you!
