Sandra Wendt started her own small business doing bookkeeping & accounting after having worked in corporate accounting for over 12 years. Sandra obtained her Associates in Applied Science Accounting from Anoka Ramsey Community College, and has also completed her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Minnesota School of Business. Sandra has accounting and bookkeeping experience in a variety of ind
ustries; she worked for Robert Half International doing contract work for many large and medium sized companies. It was during that time she had an opportunity to work in several departments of accounting, which allowed her to learn various processes and procedures from a variety of companies. While working for Robert Half, Sandra accepted a position with a non-profit organization, Project for Pride in Living (PPL) located in Minneapolis whose primary goal is to help people become self-sufficient. During the time working for PPL Sandra gained even more experience working with cash receipts, accounts payable, accounts receivables and 1099 preparation, along with being apart of company who merged with another non-profit and doubled in size. After 5 years with PPL, Sandra made the decision to work for a company doing business consulting for mid to large size companies around the Twin Cities. During this time she gained more hands-on experience with bank reconciliation, month end closing, taxes and preparation of financial statements, along with becoming a QuickBooks Pro Advisor. Sandra is proud to say she has gained experience with several accounting software systems, along with hands-on accounting experience in property management, restaurants, manufacturing, insurance, non-profit and construction, along with several sole-proprietors, now after 10 years owning her own small business, Sandra is prepared to help you with your Small Business Accounting needs.
