If you received any advanced child tax credit payments from the IRS in 2021, be sure to check the amounts you actually received against what is reported in the IRS notice that was mailed this month (Letter 6419) to avoid delays or errors in processing your tax return this year.

You can also log into your account at https://www.irs.gov/payments/your-online-account to check your payments.

- Client bookkeeping
- Client payroll
- Office tasks such as filing, scanning, answering phones, greeting clients, and document assembly
- Other accounting & tax preparation duties depending on qualifications & experience

Qualifications & Skills:
Prior accounting/bookkeeping experience
Some accounting education preferred
Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online

A good reminder that the IRS will never initiate contact with you by phone, text, email, or social media. Always check that mail purporting to come from the IRS is legitimate by looking for a notice number (CP) or a letter number (LTR) at the top or bottom right-hand corner of the correspondence, and be sure to send it to your accountant to verify and ensure it is responded to appropriately.

There won't be another round of stimulus payments anytime soon.
