Just a reminder, If you are looking a miracle worker, then I am probably not your tax guy. If you are looking someone that will give you advise on your tax situation if you owe the IRS or State Dept. and will tell you how to improve your tax situation and even look forward for a refund the upcoming year and you follow his advise, then I am your guy.

Time is running out to file your tax return if you asked for an extension.

09/06/2022

Good morning, a reminder to my clients that requested an extension on their 2021 taxes- the due date is rapidly approaching which is 10/15/2022. Please bring your documents by our office as soon as you can so that we will have the proper time needed to complete your taxes before the deadline.

I am sorry but I will not be able to accept any new clients until the end of tax season. If you are a regular client with personal taxes only I will try to complete your taxes before the deadline. All business clients will have to get an extension because I will not have time to complete your taxes before the end of the tax season.

Good evening, just a couple of things I want to talk about. First, I know a lot of you are just receiving your notice about the economic stimulus in the mail A lot of you are sure you didnt receive it. I would advise you to check your bank account first to see if you might have gotten it and just dont remember it. If you are married or have someone else that lives in the home with you, check with them to see if they remember you getting it if it arrived thru the mail. After that if you are 100 percent you didnt get it, you can recover it on your 2021 tax return. You have to be sure because this will cost you as you will have to have a tax return prepared. Even if someone got it and cashed it without you knowing about it, you can notify the IRS when they write you and tell you that it was mailed to you. They can track and see who cashed it and in time you will receive it after they do a thorough investigation.

The last thing is if you are trying to prepare you taxes this year and do not have your AGI, then retrieve your last year taxes. It will be on there. If you cant find your copy, please call the IRS or look on line and find out how you can review your account. They have made it easy to do this. Please dont call my office if you have lost your copy and ask me to reprint your tax return. I can do it later on but now I have my hands full preparing the clients that want me to do their taxes. Its not that I dont want to help you but please use the options I mention above if you need it right away. Thanks for understanding.

Its that time again. We will officially open for business on January 20, 2022. As last year, we will not do live interviews again this year as we continue to observe the Covid protocols. The IRS will began accepting electronic filed returns on January 24, 2022. Anyone that has earned income credit and the additional child tax credit refund could be delayed until the first week of March. We will be offering an advance of 500.00 to a thousand dollars to qualified individuals. There are many changes this year that will benefit the ordinary taxpayers. It has been a long time coming but it will be worth the wait. If you are a returning client, I look forward to having you back. Yes, we are taking on new clients but I will have only a limited opening for new business clients. I will accept any business clients that are referred by one of my regular client. If you owned a business, please call ahead and lets discuss your situation. Masks will be required to enter the office and the 6 ft distance will be followed. Look forward to seeing you soon
