Impact Spotlight: Showing up after disaster. 🚨

When flooding hits Appalachia, Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) steps in to help families start again — clearing damaged materials and supporting the rebuilding process. In one flood recovery story, a CAP team member shared how meaningful it was when support arrived: “They said, ‘Well, you’re part of our family, and your family is part of our family, and we’re here to help…’”

We’re raising funds for CAP from May 12–June 12 with a $12,000 goal, including Thrivent/IWA match — and there’s a match opportunity to help gifts go further (give $1, Thrivent & IWA together adds $1, up to $6,000).

Impact Spotlight: Safe, accessible homes. 🏡

One of the ways Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) changes lives is through home repairs that make everyday living safer and more manageable.

Brittany and Rob, along with their boys, recently had the opportunity to volunteer with CAP and help Tammy and Richard Neeley with meaningful updates— including central heat, new windows, a ramp, steps, and a walk-in shower. ♿

Tammy put it simply: “I’m so thankful. It means a lot.”
