📌 Tax Extension Reminder
Filing an extension gives you more time to file your return — but it does not give you more time to pay what you owe.
If you expect to owe taxes, the IRS still requires payment by the April 15 deadline to avoid penalties and interest. An extension only moves the paperwork deadline, not the payment deadline.
Here’s what that means for you:
• You can file later
• You still need to estimate and pay by April 15
• Paying on time helps avoid unnecessary fees and interest
Need help figuring out what you owe or how to estimate it? We’re here to make it simple.
