A stock split increases the number of outstanding shares to boost the company’s stock liquidity. The total value of all shares you hold remains the same because a split does not really change the Company’s value but increases the number of shares you hold, and it becomes more affordable as the value of per share reduces.

As I mentioned on my last post the government announced the next six-month interest at the beginning of May and the current I Bonds are paying a 9.62% the highest yield since being introduced in 1998. The increase is based on the March Consumer Price Index data. The U.S Department of Labor reported inflation rate 8.5 percent as of March 2022.
