Business owners, are you looking for an accountant with real experience in bookkeeping, payroll, taxes, and business advisory? 💼

Hello, I'm Michelle, The Accountant, Tax & Business Coach.

If any of these sound familiar, it's time to talk:

Your books are behind and you don't really know where your money is going
Payroll takes too much of your time, or you're worried about getting it wrong
You're paying more in taxes than you should and no one is giving you a strategy
You're making decisions without clear numbers to back them up

With 35+ years of experience, I help business owners with bookkeeping, payroll, tax preparation and planning, and business advisory, all under one roof. 📊

Business meals: do you know the difference?

Business meals are generally 50% deductible. But if you don't track them correctly, they can be completely non-deductible.

For every business meal, keep a record of:

The date
Where you went
Who you met
What business you discussed
Your receipt

And please don't assume dinner with family counts because you talked about your business. That's not considered a business meal.

Write it down. Keep the receipt. Protect your deduction.

🚨 Locum Tenens CRNAs: The Highest-Paying Contract Isn't Always the Most Profitable!

That assignment offering a higher hourly rate might look like the better opportunity, but have you calculated what you'll actually keep?

Before accepting your next contract, consider these three things:

1. Travel and lodging expenses. Who pays for airfare, hotels, rental cars, and transportation? Are those costs reimbursed?
2. Contract terms. Are you guaranteed a certain number of hours? What happens if shifts are canceled?
3. Your actual profit. After business expenses and applicable taxes, how much of that contract income will you really keep?

A contract paying more per hour doesn't automatically mean you'll make more money.

💡 The real goal is to choose assignments based on profitability, not just the advertised rate.

CRNAs, when you're reviewing a new assignment, are you comparing the hourly rate or the overall financial opportunity?

Your clients' chart of accounts is either your biggest liability or your biggest opportunity.

Most tax pros catch the tax angle-but miss the bookkeeping mastery piece entirely. That's where the real margin lives, and where your clients' profitability actually gets *revealed*.

Here's what I'm seeing: tax pros who layer bookkeeping coaching into their practice don't just solve compliance. They become the architect of their clients' financial clarity. That's a referral machine.

What's holding you back from adding this service line?

Your filing status is your deduction roadmap-and most healthcare professionals don't know their exact number until tax season hits.

I built this carousel to change that. Whether you're MFJ, single, or head of household, knowing your 2026 standard deduction threshold is the difference between guessing and strategizing.

But here's what the slides don't say: your number is only half the battle. The real move is mapping whether you itemize or take the standard *before* December rolls around-based on your actual business expenses, mortgage interest, charitable giving, and life circumstances.

That's where strategy beats panic.

Ready to map your 2026 plan? to walk through your filing status and tax strategy together. No guesswork. Just clarity.

Tax Pros, Extension season is OVER. You made it. Now — remember every messy cleanup you just survived? The ones where the books were a disaster and you still got the return out the door?

The 35-Day Bookkeeper Bootcamp starts November 1. In 35 days you'll know how to reconcile, review, report, and turn cleanup chaos into monthly retainer clients. 15 seats, live sessions, camera required — this is hands-on, not another course you never finish.

Here's what I see all the time: a therapist, a traveling nurse, or a practice owner working their tail off-but their bookkeeping system doesn't match how they actually run their business.

They lump 'supplies' together. They miss 1099 contractor deductions. They don't separate clinical vs. admin expenses. And come tax season? They're shocked at what they owe.

The problem isn't that they're bad with money. It's that generic bookkeeping doesn't work for niche businesses.

I've built my practice around one thing: making sure your finances actually reflect your profitability. That means understanding YOUR business model-not forcing you into a one-size-fits-all chart of accounts.

Ready to see where you're leaving money on the table? Book a quick clarity call or grab my free deduction checklist. Let's get your bookkeeping working FOR you, not against you.

Here's the thing: most tax pros catch the big-picture tax strategy, but miss the foundational bookkeeping error that's quietly costing their clients thousands in deductions.

A poorly structured chart of accounts doesn't just look messy-it hides deductions, creates reconciliation nightmares, and puts your clients (and your reputation) at risk.

I work with tax professionals who want to add bookkeeping mastery to their service line. Not as a commodity add-on, but as a competitive edge that makes you indispensable to your clients' financial clarity.

When you understand bookkeeping fundamentals-especially niche-specific structures for healthcare, 1099 professionals, and service providers-you catch errors before they become liabilities. Your clients get the deductions they earned. You strengthen the relationship. Everyone wins.

Ready to master this? I offer specialized coaching for tax pros ready to expand. Let's talk about what's possible for your practice.
