Good things come to those who wait. If you claimed the Earned Income Tax Credit or the Additional Child Tax Credit, your refund can take a little longer. Use the Where's My Refund tool to get an updated status by February 17. If you filed electronically, requested direct deposit and had no issues with your return, you can get your refund as early as February 27. Some taxpayers may see their refunds earlier.

Irs starts accepting returns Monday the 24th! To avoid delays on your refund be sure to have the EXACT amount you received for the 3rd stimulus and if received your advance child tax credit. If the exact amount is not reported on your return, it WILL delay your refund!
