Prior experience in an Accounting Firm is required.
This is not an entry-level position. Experience and extensive knowledge in bookkeeping procedures is a must. Proficiency in Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is a must. Experience in Abacus is also highly preferred. Strong communication skills, ability to prioritize, multi-task, organize and pay attention to detail are skills highly desired for this position.
We are currently seeking a team member to join our bookkeeping department and perform various bookkeeping duties while working closely with clientele. Potential candidate must be a self-starter and capable of working efficiently and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the practices and procedures to ensure timely and accurate records and reports
• Review financial statements and prepare higher level financial statements
• Preparation and supervision to ensure proper administration of tax reporting such as quarterly and annual business and payroll tax reports
• Understanding of compiled financial statements
