Here we are on the last day of Life Insurance Awareness Month!
Long term care is something most people overlook because they don't think they will ever need it or they expect their spouse to take care of them.
When 24-hour care is needed, it is very draining on the care giver especially if there is no means to hire outside help.
Long term care insurance inside of a life policy is very cost effective. If you don't use it, you will not lose it. The death benefit will transfer to your beneficiaries!

This is Life Insurance Awareness Month!!

What would you like to happen when you die?

Imagine losing the primary wage earner in your household. It’s a tough situation to think about, but for nearly half of U.S. consumers, this scenario would lead to financial hardship within six months. According to the 2024 Insurance Barometer Study, 44% of U.S. consumers report they would face si...

CONGRATULATIONS YOU REACHED THE END OF THE CHALLENGE

Day 14 - Plan Ahead Challenge

On our final day, let's create a long-term financial plan. Review all we've covered over the past two weeks. Set both short-term and long-term financial goals. Create a realistic timeline for achieving these goals. Remember, this plan isn't set in stone - it should be reviewed and adjusted regularly as your life circumstances change.

Congratulations on completing this14-day challenge!
Financial health is an ongoing journey. You can also reach out to me for a free financial consultation so I can help you create a comprehensive plan tailored to your specific situation and goals.

Remember, the habits and knowledge you've gained over these 14 days are just the beginning. Keep learning, stay committed, and watch your financial health improve over time. Most of what’s covered here is in my e-book that you can download here.

This is the second to last day of my financial challenge. Go back and start-over if you didn't. This will change your life

Day 13 - Plan Ahead Challenge

Here’s to thinking outside the box. Consider a Financial Date Night. If you have a partner, schedule a "money date" to discuss finances openly and align goals. In most relationships, one person is the saver while the other is the spender.

If this is true in your situation, come to a middle ground where you can agree on the amount that you are both comfortable to spend monthly on non-essentials. Financial issues have been one of the prime causes of divorce, so do set some time aside to address your concerns.

And we near the end of our challenge, let's talk about giving. While it might seem counterintuitive when focusing on personal finances, giving - whether to charity or helping family and friends - can bring a sense of purpose to your financial journey.

Consider setting aside a small portion of your income for giving. This can also potentially provide tax benefits, depending on your situation.

Day 12 - Plan Ahead Challenge

Today's topic is mindful spending. Before making a purchase, especially a large one, ask yourself: "Do I need this or just want it?" "Will this purchase align with my financial goals?" "Can I delay this purchase?" Implementing a 24-hour rule for non-essential purchases can help curb impulse buying and keep you on track with your budget.

Let's also talk about automating your finances. Set up automatic transfers to your savings account on payday. Automate bill payments to avoid late fees. Automation reduces the temptation to spend and ensures you're consistently working towards your financial goals.

Day 11 - Plan Ahead Challenge

Today we’re going to discuss one of the most overlooked planning tools -Long Term Care. 70% of people over 65 will need some form of long term care and the cost is staggering.

Most people are sadly mistaken when they think Medicare will cover this cost. Without planning ahead, all your hard earned assets might end up going towards your care as medical advancements have helped increase life expectancy.

You do not have to be close to retirement to set this up. Purchasing a long term care policy when you are younger, can mean lower premium payments so get some quotes today. You can also DM for more info.
