If your tax return was taken, or if it’s taking a long time to receive it, like it’s under review, here’s some information that might help you.
If you are in a hardship, fill out form F911 and send it to (see below), together with a complete copy of your 2025 tax return, hardship documents (examples are past due rent, past due utilities, eviction notice, past due mortgage, past due medical bills, past due car payments, NO CREDIT CARD BILLS, NO PERSONAL LOANS, NO PHONE BILLS). You can get the form F911 from taxpayeradvocate.irs.gov
