New tax law update: Starting in 2026 if you itemize deductions, charitable contributions now come with a tiny haircut.
Your deductible donations are reduced by 0.5% of your AGI.
Example:
AGI = $500,000 → $2,500 isn’t deductible
Donate $10,000 → only $7,500 makes it onto the tax return
Still worth giving (and doing good) — just no longer a full write-off for higher earners.
As always, we’re here to help you plan smart and avoid surprises at tax time.
