🏆 Employee of the Month 🏆

We are proud to name Jon Tazzia as our first official Employee of the Month for May!

Jon joined the Five Lakes Financial team in 2022 as a Financial Planning Assistant. Always going above and beyond, bringing positive energy, and delivering outstanding results, he quickly proved he had what it takes to be Director of Investment Operations. Jon's knowledge and dedication left a lasting impression on both our clients and our team.

While we are sad to see Jon go, we wish him nothing but the best on this next chapter of life!

Jon, thank you for a great 4 years with the team. We are grateful for all your hard work and being an awesome colleague. We'll miss you! Wishing you success, happiness, and luck! Congratulations! 🎉

Happy 1 Year Anniversary to us! It's hard to believe a whole year has flown by since the Five Lakes Financial team moved into our new office at 452 S. Main Street in lovely Lapeer! We could not be happier with our new space and can't wait to share some building updates in the near future!

Happy Administrative Professionals Day to all the office unicorns! 🦄

To the ones who keep the office from spontaneously combusting. The reason “Reply All” disasters are averted, the printer magically works on deadline day, and your boss manages to look organized. The ones who fix scheduling disasters, hunt down the missing files, and solve the tech issues plaguing the office.

We might not get capes, but we do get coffee and the satisfaction of knowing you’d all be lost without us (literally – you still can’t find the stapler).

Today we celebrate the MVPs, the glue, the real ones. Shoutout to all my fellow admins – we see you, we appreciate you, we are you. 💃🎉

We love helping the community! Thank you to McLaren Lapeer Region and Karmanos Cancer Institute Lapeer for everything you do!

⭐ Community Support in Action! ⭐

The team from Five Lakes Financial, joined by staff of the Karmanos Cancer Institute in Lapeer, gathered today to assemble Chemo Care bags. Each bag contains items such as lip balm, lotion, crossword books, tissues, journals, hard candies, and many more items meant to offer comfort to newly diagnosed cancer patients. 💖

The Chemo Care Fund, founded in 2024 by Eric and Kristen Cassabon along with their daughters, is a heartfelt initiative that aims to support those undergoing chemotherapy treatment. Currently, they distribute approximately 150 care packages each year, at a cost of $16 per bag.

Our team kicked off March Madness at Sugarbush Golf Club last week. We are overwhelmed by the generosity of our clients and guests who donated so many items to The Chemo Care Fund and McLaren Lapeer Region Foundation. To top it off you all helped raise over $1,800 for these great causes! We love our clients and this community!
