‼️ A borrower can apply for forgiveness once all loan proceeds for which the borrower is requesting forgiveness have been used. Borrowers can apply for forgiveness any time up to the maturity date of the loan. If borrowers do not apply for forgiveness within 10 months after the last day of the covered period, then PPP loan payments are no longer deferred, and borrowers will begin making loan payments to their PPP lender‼️

👩🏼‍💻Your lender can provide you with either the SBA Form 3508, SBA Form 3508EZ, SBA Form 3508S, or a lender equivalent.

If you filed for an extension, you have until October 15 to file your tax return...but remember this is not an extension to pay what you owe. Taxes must be paid by May 17 to avoid penalties and interest on the amount owed after that date. To find out more about your payment options, visit www.irs.gov/pay

Tracking the status of your tax refund is easy with the Where's My Refund? tool. You can access it on IRS.gov or through the IRS2Go App.

Taxpayers can start checking their refund status within 24 hours after an e-filed return is received.

While most tax refunds are issued within 21 days, some may take longer if the return requires additional review.

The IRS updates the tool once a day – usually overnight – so there's no need to check more often.
