if you are self employed or 1099 only, we are ready to help you! For those waiting on forms, once you have them, we will be waiting to help you!

We will be offering Easy Advance Plus, and PreACK Advance (if you qualify), Apply for an advance on their income tax refunds up to $6000 and if approved can receive funds in 24 hours or less!

A quick reminder:
BE ALERT! Avoid getting scammed for your tax preparation fees!
As we head into this upcoming tax season, make sure the person you are paying to file your taxes is authorized by the IRS to prepare and file on your behalf, if they are not, they cannot legally charge you! If the person you are paying is using a free provider (H&R Block, TurboTax, etc), they are not IRS authorized efile providers and are illegally charging you!

If the person filing your taxes is charging you high preparation fees for simple returns, ask them for a break down on what you are being charged for, if they refuse or are not wanting to prepare your return with you there, get another quote!
If your refund amount seems unusually high compared to what you usually recieve with no major changes, get a second quote before filing. Here is a link to the IRS authorized e file provider list, you can search by zip code, if the person filing your return is not on this list, be sure, before letting them file for you especially if their fees are unusually high :

HAPPY MONDAY! Can you believe it, 10 days into March already! Time is going so fast, I hope you are all taking time to slow down and enjoy the moments and making memories! We are a little more than half way through this tax season and still going full speed! I will be in Lamesa this weekend, if you need an appointment, lets get you scheduled! The IRS is running a little behind on releasing refunds but they are working as quick as they can... if you are still waiting, hang on a little longer! Happy Sunday! Blessed and greatful for everyone and everything I have in my life! These last few months have been quite the journey, full of "ups" and a couple "downs" but none the less many lessons learned! As I get ready to close chapter forty whatever it is of my life and start the next, I find myself reminesing and reflecting on so many different things... friends lost, friends gained, funny memories, reconnections with old aquaintances, finally being ok with letting people go, not feeling bad for setting boundries, and standing my ground with desicions I make both in my personal life and in my business...

I my not have always been the best friend I could have been to some people, I might give up on people too fast and cut ties completely after the first time I get burned, I probably didnt help when I could have or at least made more of an effort to try harder, I made mistakes, and I sat back and watched other people make them... but at the end of the day, I do what I think is best for ME now. Those that have known me know that I spent years of my life focused and worried about everyone around me putting their needs and wants before my own and in turn I took so many hits and losses almost to the point of wanting to give up on living!

Then one day, I woke up and decided to make a change to my situation and my life! Fast forward a few years and I am here still learning to be good and do what makes me happy! You guys may not even realize how important each of you are to my life no matter if you are family, friends, coworkers, or clients, of mine, you all have some place in my life and know I am greatful you are in it! A huge THANK YOU for all the thoughts, prayers, and just all around positive vibes and everything you have done for me! I am blessed beyond measure!

ONE MORE REMINDER...

Gutierrez & Associates has several clients with past due invoices that need to be paid as soon as possible! As business owners, we all understand things happen and i feel I have been more than understanding and have gone above and beyond to try and be flexible and accomodating offering payment plans, waiving late fees, extending due dates, etc, and still have trouble getting the invoices paid, and at minimum a text or message to make arrangements to pay; so my next option is to reach out publicly to try to get this resolved properly.

On September 1, I will post a list of those with past due invoices and see if we cant work together to get the invoices paid before further action (up to and including legal action) is taken.

The post wasnt in anyway meant to be taken personally... its business! Every single one of my clients understands (or should) the same way I would never expect, or ask for, a discount for their services because I understand what it costs and as a business owner I expect to pay the same price as everyone else. Its only fair! Also please understand, if im having to reach out publicly it is because I have spent weeks or months repeatedly reaching out privately with little or no response at all! Its simple, you asked for my services, I provided, and have yet to be paid, weeks or months later! It is frustrating especially when if I were to purchase from or obtain your business, I would be expected to pay at time of service! I only think its right! If I lose friends, clients, potential clients, or whoever, that is ok but at the end of the day, I am running a business just like so many of you and I have to do whatever it takes to make sure I dont end up losing even more than I already have!
