Dear Clients and Friends of BT&I,
We hope this e-mail finds you and your families safe and out of harms way. We are writing to update you on the latest announcements from the IRS concerning victims of Hurricane Irma.
As of yesterday, the IRS has stated that most filing deadlines falling on or after Sept. 4, 2017 and before Jan. 31, 2018, are granted additional time to file through Jan. 31, 2018. This includes, but is not limited to extended corporate and individual tax filings, quarterly estimated payments, fiscal filings and more. Our firm fully intends to complete your tax return as quickly as possible. With that being said, we ask that if you have not turned in your tax information that you do so as soon as possible. Lastly, we encourage you to read the information below to find out all that this IRS announcement includes.
Who benefits?
Individuals who reside or have a business in Broward, Charlotte, Clay, Collier, Duval, Flagler, Hillsborough, Lee, Manatee, Miami-Dade, Monroe, Palm Beach, Pinellas, Putnam, Sarasota, and St. Johns may qualify for tax relief. We have been in communication with Congressman Rooney's office and as of today Govenor Scott has added Brevard, Orange, Pasco, Polk and St. Lucie counties. Mr. Rooney's office said that they fully expect Govenor Scott to add several more counties to the list including Highlands, Hardee, and Desoto.
Bunting, Tripp & Ingley will be open for business Thursday, September 14th. Please feel free to call us if you have any questions concerning this announcement.
Sincerely Yours,
The Partners & Staff of Bunting Tripp & Ingley
