As we approach April, I want to remind everyone of something I mentioned during your tax appointments.
Please make sure you review your paperwork and save your tax documents once they are provided to you. When your return is completed, you receive copies of your documents and your tax return for your records.
My service is tax preparation, which includes preparing and filing your tax return and providing you with your completed documents.
If you later need additional copies of your paperwork after they have already been sent to you multiple times, or if you need ongoing document retrieval and record maintenance, that falls under bookkeeping or document management services, which will require an additional service fee.
I’m always happy to assist my clients, but please understand that repeated requests for previously provided documents will require additional time and administrative work.
