It is that time of the year to start preparing for tax season. It may feel obvious, but gathering documents and filing them in one place as they come in can ease the mental burden on tax season. We all know how time can slip away in the blink of an eye.

It is also important to remember that with fewer CPAs and a more complex tax code, many returns are now filed later in the year.
