Last Friday, we had the chance to celebrate a huge milestone—Judge Dan Stidham’s retirement. After 25 years of dedicated service on the bench, he is retiring, marking an incredible accomplishment. We are deeply grateful for his years of service and commitment to our community.

We are excited to welcome him as General Counsel at our firm beginning January 2026, bringing three generations together under one roof at the same time—something truly special.

We all know that this day will come, but that’s doesn’t make it any easier, and our day has come.

On Saturday morning, “Gramma” Eva Stidham passed peacefully to be with the Lord, and those she’d loved and lost through the years. While her body broke down, her mind was sharp and wit was quick, right up to the end. She has always been the matriarch, and the defining personality of our family. She is, in a big way, responsible for who I am, today. She was my biggest fan, fiercest defender in public, and quiet critic in private. Her strength defined her, just as much as her endless love; traits I’m proud to think that she passed on to me.

While a tiny woman, she was larger than life, and the Genesis of all of ours. On behalf of the entire family, I would like to invite everyone who reads this to join us in honoring this incredible woman on Wednesday. My grandfather, Troy, is looking forward to visiting with many people starting at noon, with her memorial service beginning at 2:00. Please see her obituary link below.

Thank you for all of the well wishes and funny stories that have been shared since her passing, and thank you in advance for joining us to honor my Gramma.

Gram, thank you for all that you were and all that you did for us for so long; all the love, all the laughs, and all the wisdom. You will be missed every day, and your legacy lives on in the lives that you created and shaped through all of your years.

All of us here at Stidham Financial, and the entire Stidham family, would like to wish our baby girl a very happy 6th birthday!

She is our youngest, and a big dreamer. She loves animals and wants to have her own veterinary hospital, when she grows up (a venture that her Daddy has already committed to partnering on). She is the brightest shining star in all of our lives, so full of energy, love and life. She has a smile that brightens up every room that she walks into, and we thank God for the gift that she is to us all.

Happy birthday, Ava Mae, and thank you for making all of our lives so much better just because you are here.

This has been quite a busy week! We had a THREE day film shoot this week. All of our team worked extremely hard and we pulled off filming 3....did you hear that 3 NEW WEBINARS that are currently in editing. My hope is that they are available to view by May. Along with the 3 new webinars, we had a very special opportunity to film some content for the book "A Harvest of Innocence" The Untold Story of the West Memphis Three Murder Case with the newly minted author Judge Dan Stidham.

As most of you know, Dan is Daniel's father and was one of the defense attorneys on the West Memphis Three Murder Case. This case obviously affected the victims, the victims family and the alleged criminals as well as their families. Something that isn't talked about often is how it affected not only Dan, but all of the family. To witness the raw emotion between Daniel and Dan regarding the past few decades was an experience I will never forget. I think both of them learned things about one another during that time frame that they never knew. It gave each of them a chance to share things from each other's perspective. I will be forever thankful to be apart of this day.

I also learned that there are 97 new topics in this book that were never addressed during the wrongful conviction. If you haven't read the book before, I urge you to do so ASAP.
In April 2024, the Arkansas Supreme Court ruled that the West Memphis Three could request new DNA testing of evidence from the 1993 murders of three boys. This ruling allows the men to seek justice and potentially identify the person who actually committed the crime. This evidence will be released very soon.
