It’s almost tax time! I will once again be in the Macon and Sumner county offices this tax season for all of your income tax needs. I will be in the Gallatin office Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 -5:00 and the Lafayette office on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8:00 - 5:00 starting January 23 2023. _I look forward to serving you all once again this year.

With higher gas prices the IRS has increased mileage rates with another split year as we had a few years ago. For tax year 2022 January through June rates are 58.5 cents per mile and July through December rates are 62.5 cents per mile. So for those who are self employed as you keep up with mileage remember this and log your mileage accordingly. Thank you and have a blessed day!!!

I will begin taking appointments starting on Monday January 24th 2022. This is the first day
that you will be able to e-file individual returns. I will once again be serving Macon, Trousdale and Sumner counties. If you are a farm bureau member and need tax help or forms preparation such as 1099s, individual return preparation, farm returns business returns and many others, then come by and let me help you. Just wanted to let everyone know that you should be receiving paperwork from the 2021 stimulus payments and child tax payments from the IRS for your taxes in the next week or two. If you don't have this information when you file your taxes it could cause significant delays to any refunds.

I will be taking appointments starting tomorrow 1/27/20. 8:00-5:00 pm in the Macon County office Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 615-666-4025. 8:00- 4:30pm at the Trousdale County office Tuesdays and Thursdays at 615-374-2255. If you need an appointment after 5:00 or on a Saturday because of your work schedule please feel free to ask. I am always glad to help. I will be accepting appointments beginning on Monday January 28th. You can call now and reserve your appointment by calling 615-666-4025 for the Macon County office or 615-374-2255 for the Trousdale County office. I will again be alternating days at each office. Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Macon office 8 am to 5 pm and Tuesday and Thursday at the Trousdale office 8 am to 4:30 pm. I will be available on Saturday if needed at either office and will be glad to work around your schedule if you work later.
