Jenna Isch:
A lifetime Indiana resident and Butler University graduate, Jenna knows the state well. After graduating from Butler, Jenna launched her career as a broadcast journalist and spent time at three TV stations around the region. She’s transitioned from the newsroom to the insurance industry, putting the same professionalism and people skills into play as an Agent with Farmers Insurance. Sh

e especially enjoys getting to know the people of Greater Lafayette and learning their stories. Jenna is involved across the community as an education coordinator for her Business Networking International (BNI) chapter, an Association of Women Business Owners (AWBO) board member, Spirit of Women, a member of the TippyConnect Community Involvement Committee, a Junior Achievement volunteer and much more. Julie Rubsam:
Julie Rubsam is a Purdue graduate and is proud to call Tippecanoe County home. She brings experience in many areas, including bookkeeping, executive leadership and more. She puts her business savvy into practice as the business manager for Lafayette PC, the computer and networking systems company she co-launched and co-owns. Julie loves putting her creativity and work ethic into action for her business, clients and colleagues. Julie can be found around Greater Lafayette as the Business Manager of the Indiana Arborist Association, President of AWBO, a Junior Achievement volunteer, the mentor for her BNI chapter, a member of philanthropic sorority Tri Kappa, the treasurer for Jesse’s Kids Foundation, TippyConnect, a Chamber Ambassador for the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce and active in the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce and much more. Lafayette Indiana Networking Connection (LINC) is your key to the community. It’s networking with a purpose, building bridges to grow professional connections. The idea for LINC was born out of a common goal: taking the guesswork out of networking. Professionals Jenna Isch and Julie Rubsam – all seasoned networkers -- saw the need for deeper, more purpose-driven connecting within the community. They hoped to create an environment where networking was more than small talk. And they saw the potential to connect the people of Greater Lafayette’s businesses. LINC’s first speed networking event took place in January 2011. All three invited their contacts and designed a method to engage participants in real conversations about real business. The speed networking events, facilitated by Jenna, Aimee and Julie, capitalize on the power of referrals. Participants rotate every few minutes, and each exchange includes time to explain your business and ask for referrals. It’s a structured environment where you know you’ll walk away with the potential for real contacts and real business connections. Whether you are new to the community or are a lifelong resident, connections are waiting to be built. Participants at LINC events get more than just a handful of business cards and coincidental conversations.
