The Working Pennsylvanians Tax Credit is a new state-level tax credit designed to support working families in Pennsylvania. This credit is modeled after the federal Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). You can expect to receive a separate check from PA Dept of Rev that is equal to 10% of your Federal Earned Income Credit.

The IRS is no longer issuing paper checks. You MUST provide routing and account numbers to receive your refund. If we have already filed and requested a paper check, you will be receiving a notice from the IRS requesting account information.

If you qualify for the OT deduction, please be sure to bring your last pay stub from 2025 along with your W2 for filing, unless the OT amount is listed in Box 14 on the W2. Thank you!

The 2025 overtime tax deduction allows eligible workers to deduct up to $12,500 for individual filers and $25,000 for joint filers from their taxable income. This deduction applies to qualified overtime compensation required under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is effective for tax years 2025-2028. The deduction phases out for taxpayers with modified AGI over $150,000 ($300,000 for joint filers).
