If checking your refund status through the “Where’s my Refund” system isn’t working for you…try pulling up your transcript through an online account at https://www.irs.gov

Simply create or sign in to your account, on your homepage scroll down to “Records and Status”, choose “View Tax Records”…then the 2025 year and you can generate the report in English or Spanish!!

The IRS will lift the PATH Act holding requirement on February 16, 2026, for taxpayers claiming EITC or ACTC.

While the hold technically expires Feb. 15, the date is pushed to Feb. 16 due to the weekend and Presidents' Day holiday.

Most taxpayers should see their refunds by early March 2026. 🙌🏻
