Quick thought during tax season…
A lot of clients end up acting as the go-between for their adviser and their CPA. I’ve been in this business since 2014, and I’ve kept coming back to the same thought:
There has to be a better way.
Forwarding emails.
Repeating information.
Trying to make sure nothing gets missed.
That’s not how it should work.
It’s actually what led to the research I just had published in the Journal of Financial Planning.
The main idea is simple:
Good people + good intentions isn’t enough.
Without structure, coordination falls apart… and the client feels it first.
Tax season just makes the pain obvious.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re the one holding everything together, I’d be curious to hear your experience.
