Be An Angel Gala attended by Bill & Susan Shank and Carr & Wendy Burgoyne of Shank Wealth Management. Bill Shank was given two awards this evening for his dedication and service to Be An Angel.

Be An Angel’s 40th anniversary celebration honored our past chairmen from the last 40 years. Bill Shank served a three- year term as chairman, then served on the executive committee as past chair for two years and then returned to serve as chairman again another two- year term.

Additionally, this past year, a special award was created as Be An Angel honored their Treasurer, Bob Leonard, who served for over 17 years and passed away this February 2026.

“The B-O-B Award” … the Be An Angel Outstanding Board award. Bill was the first recipient receiving this award. Bill received a carafe that was given to him and Be An Angel has a plaque in their office with Bill’s name on it.
