Looks like no amended returns will be needed of you had unemployment income!!

The IRS plans to automatically process refunds for people who paid taxes on unemployment income before the American Rescue Plan made a portion tax-free.

Tax day for 2021 has been officially moved to May 17th. Texas residents only have until June 15th to file.

The IRS has pushed back the tax filing deadline from April 15 to May 17, giving taxpayers an extra month to file their returns amid the pandemic.

The tax deadline (April 15th) has been pushed back to July 15th. Additionally, if you owe tax, you have until July 15th to pay with no penalties or interest.
