Job Title: Part-Time Office Assistant
Company: Nepa Accounting & Consulting
Location: In-office (20-30 hours/week)
Duration: Immediate start through end of April
About the Position
We’re looking for a Part-Time Office Assistant to support our busy accounting/tax office during tax season from now until the end of April. This role will primarily handle phone call directing, filing, scanning documents, and assisting staff with day-to-day needs and projects.
Hours: 4-6 hours per day (total of 20-30 hours per week)
Schedule: Weekday, daytime hours
Key Responsibilities
Answer and direct incoming phone calls
Organize and maintain paper and digital files
Scan and prepare documents for staff and client use
Assist the team with various tasks and projects as needed
Qualifications
Basic computer skills (Email, Excel, Word, general computer knowledge)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks
Bonus Skills
Tax or bookkeeping experience—if you have this, we can expand your role (and pay rate).
Compensation
$15 - $20 per hour, commensurate with experience
This position could grow into a full-time all year position dependent on need and applicant.
