1. The IRS will not accept any tax returns until February 12th. So even if you get in before that date, they will not allow us to send them until then.
2. If you call the office and do not reach us, please just leave a message. We promise we will call you back as soon as we can.
3. Just a reminder that it is just the two of us and while we try our best to answer all calls, sometimes we just can’t. We get asked all the time why we don’t have a receptionist and to be honest it really doesn’t help us or our clients to have someone answer the phones just to relay a message to return a phone call. Most people have questions that can not be answered by someone unfamiliar with taxes. Scheduling can be tricky as well sometimes. Just keep in mind, not having someone on payroll helps keep our overhead down and our tax prep fees as low as possible. So please understand and just be patient with us and we will get back to you. 😊

Hey all! Just a quick hello to let you all know what to expect for tax season from us.
Jennifer and I are taking in person appointments and we offer drop off services as well. Please call us to set up either one. We do not take walk ins.
The IRS will begin accepting returns on February 12th and processing them at that time. If you get ALL of your papers and are ready before then, then you come on in but your taxes will be sent on February 12th to the IRS and they will process them at that time.
As a reminder please wear a mask and please come at your designated appointment time. We are doing what we can to protect our families and yours.

Hello everyone, just a quick update. We received some news this weekend that our customers need to know. We had previously been told that tax season would begin on January 25th, however, Friday, the IRS released a statement that they would not accept or process any tax returns until February 12th. That's almost 3 weeks later than what we had anticipated. We will still be booking appointments starting next Monday and will still prepare taxes. We just can't transmit them to the IRS until February 12th. We do ask that you PLEASE have all of your paperwork in hand before making an appointment. There will be many folks with unemployment statements this year and we MUST have the 1099-G from the state to prepare your taxes. In several cases, they will not mail those statements out to you, you may need to go online to your unemployment account to print those off.
If you would like to drop your taxes off to us, or email us your info, we will be glad to accommodate you. We know things are still uneasy with the virus situation, but we will work it out! Thanks to everyone for your continued support to our small business, we are truly grateful!

FYI stimulus payments are not coming to us for our clients. If you don’t get it direct deposited or a check in the mail then you can claim it on your tax return. We are getting a lot of phone calls about this and some banks have also been telling people this. While some larger companies may be doing that, we are not. Thanks 😊

Please be advised, we do not have ANY solid information yet about stimulus checks. The IRS doesn't have the details worked out yet. Please do not bombard our office with calls related to the stimulus payments, because we don't know anything at this moment. We will update you as soon as possible and as soon as we get more info. You can always check the IRS.gov website to see if anything has been updated. Thank you!
