As of Dec 31st Beneficial Owners Requirement is on indefinite hold. There is no longer a January 13th deadline.

Dec 26th courts put another hold on the BOI requirement. The requirement is on hold for the court to review. As of now if the decision is reversed you must file by January 13th.

Attention businesses---the Federal Government is requiring you to register with them or face large daily fines. Starting 1/1/2024 many businesses are required to file beneficiary owner information with the federal government. Businesses created before 1/1/2024 have until 1/1/2025 to file. Those created in 2024 gave 90 days. Those created after 2024 have 30 days.

Many companies are required to report information to FinCEN about the individuals who ultimately own or control them. FinCEN began accepting reports on January 1, 2024. Learn more about reporting deadlines.
