✅️Filing Requirement: All residents of municipalities and school districts within Cumberland County who received earned income must file this return annually, even if no tax is due or all tax has been withheld.
☑️Due Date: The return must be filed on or before April 15th (or the next business day if April 15th falls on a weekend).
✅️Documentation: You must enclose copies of your W-2s and/or 1099s with the form, or credit for taxes paid may be disallowed.
Form 531 - Final Earned Income Tax Return: This is the specific form you need to download and complete.
Filing Options
✔️You have two primary options for filing your Cumberland County EIT return:
Online Filing: The CCTB offers a free electronic filing system on its website. To view eligibility requirements and file online, visit www.cumberlandtax.org and follow the step-by-step instructions.
✔️Paper Filing: You can print Form 531, complete it manually, and mail it with all required documentation (such as copies of your W-2s and relevant state schedules) to the Cumberland County Tax Bureau at:
