The real test of leadership isn’t how you start—it’s whether you stay the course.

By now, the excitement is quieter. That’s normal. Strong leaders don’t confuse quiet with failure. They keep showing up, trusting the process they committed to earlier.

Momentum grows when commitment stays firm—even when progress feels slow.

Stay the course.

Strong leaders build momentum.

—Norm

Progress doesn’t have to be fast to be real.

Some days you move quickly.

Other days, progress is slow and quiet. What matters most is that you keep moving. Stopping is far more dangerous than moving at a steady pace.

Strong leaders understand that momentum comes from staying in motion—especially when progress feels small.

Keep moving forward.

Strong leaders build momentum.

God bless,

—Norm

Most momentum is built in the boring middle.

No applause.
No big wins.

Just showing up and doing the work.

This is where most people slow down or quit. Strong leaders understand that progress isn’t always exciting—but it’s always earned.

If you keep showing up when it’s quiet, momentum will find you.
Strong leaders build momentum—even when no one’s watching.

God bless,

—Norm

Most people spend more time planning their vacation than they do planning their finances.

And I get it — nobody ever taught us this stuff. Not in school. Not at home. Not in the military.

But here's what I've learned after 25 years in financial services:

Where your money sits matters more than how hard you work for it.

The difference between a good financial decision and a bad one — made early enough — can be the difference between struggling in retirement and never worrying about money again.

If you've never had someone sit down and actually explain how your money could be working for you — that conversation is free.

And it might be the most valuable one you ever have.

Momentum doesn’t start with a big move.

It starts with a small step—taken consistently.

I’ve seen too many good leaders wait for the perfect moment or the burst of energy that never comes. Momentum isn’t built that way. It’s built by doing the next right thing, then doing it again tomorrow.

Small, repeatable action beats big intentions every time.

Strong leaders build momentum by starting small—and staying with it.

God bless,

—Norm

Nobody taught you about money in school.

They didn't teach me either.

Not in school. Not in the military. Not anywhere. And that silence has cost millions of families everything they should have had.

The good news? It's not too late to learn.

One conversation can change the entire financial future of your family. I've watched it happen hundreds of times.

Don't let what you weren't taught become what your kids aren't taught either.

The cycle stops when you decide it stops.

God bless,

—Norm

I've built my entire career on one simple idea — do what you say you're going to do. Every time. No exceptions.

It sounds simple. It's not common.

But when people know your word means something, doors open that money can't buy.

Your reputation is built one kept promise at a time.

Everybody wants to know what it takes to become successful.

And that's a fair question.

But I think there's another question that's just as important.

Who are you becoming in the process?

Are you becoming more disciplined?
More patient?
More responsible?

Are you learning to lead people with honesty and integrity?

Are you becoming someone your family can depend on and your team can trust?

Because here's the thing, folks.

A business can grow
Income can change
Titles can come and go

But your character goes with you everywhere.

And if you're building something that requires you to compromise who you are, you might want to reconsider what you're building.

Don't just set goals for what you want to accomplish. Set goals for the kind of person you want to become.

God bless,

—Norm

There comes a point where consistency isn’t enough.

You have to decide what standard you’re willing to live by.

Your daily habits.
Your communication.
Your integrity.
Your effort.

Standards determine ceilings.

If you tolerate average, you’ll produce average. If you demand better from yourself, you’ll become better.

Strong leaders raise the standard — starting with themselves.

God bless,

—Norm

There's a reason even the best professional athletes have coaches.

It's not because they lack talent. It's because they understand the value of learning from someone who's already been where they're trying to go.

When I was preparing to leave the Army in 2000, I wasn't sure what opportunities were available to someone with my background.

Then my transition counselor asked what career field interested me. I told her financial services.

She connected me with a company that provided the training and licensing I needed to get started.

That one conversation opened a door I might not have found on my own.

But here's what I've learned, the right people can open doors, share their experience, and help you avoid mistakes.

That's why I love helping people develop their leadership skills and discover what they're capable of.

I can teach you, train you, and share what I've learned over the last 25 years.

So let me ask you something:

Who's helping you become the person you want to be?

God bless,

—Norm
