Today, BNI Westside Business Partners showed up in pink with a shared purpose. 🎀💗

We wore pink to raise breast cancer awareness, honor survivors, remember loved ones, and stand alongside those facing breast cancer and the families supporting them.

Our chapter builds relationships that extend beyond business. Today was a reminder that showing up for our community matters, too.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped fill the room with pink and support!

Jen Gowans joined BNI Westside in July, just weeks after buying Pink Zebra Moving Company. Three months later she’s already getting referrals from inside our chapter and from outside it.

She says it happens naturally. Jen calls someone to pass them a referral, and before the conversation ends they’re asking about her business and thinking about who they can send her way.

Jen Gowans’ favorite BNI core value is Positive Attitude. 💪

She admits that when a problem shows up, focusing on the negative is the natural reaction. But BNI’s education moments, her one-to-ones with other members, and the BNI podcast taught her to step back, look at the problem from a new angle, and go after solutions.

The way Jen sees it, “Failure is not scary… if you learn from it, you get better.”

She brings that same attitude to her crew at Pink Zebra Moving Company. Her movers are trained to communicate positively and keep the mood light, even on a hectic moving day.
