From the Michigan website: "Individual and business taxpayers who reside in Alcona, Alpena, Antrim, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Crawford, Emmet, Mackinac, Montmorency, Oscoda, Otsego and Presque Isle counties can request additional time to file state tax returns and pay state tax bills, with penalties and interest waived."

Well, they did it. The Feds dropped interest rates by a half point today which is more than I thought they would do. They also hinted there could be two additional cuts yet this year.

The Federal Reserve cut interest rates for the first time in more than four years Wednesday, ending its most aggressive inflation-fighting campaign since the 1980s.
