Many IRS workers are furloughed due to the government shutdown, but taxpayers are still required to file their extensions this week.

No state since 2000 has cut its taxes more than Wisconsin. In 2001 Wisconsin had the 9th highest tax burden in the country. By 2022 we had gone down to 39th. See maps below. The state is 100% open for business.
