The US Court of Federal Claims held in Kwong v United States that IRC § 7508A automatically suspended certain federal tax deadlines during the COVID federally declared disaster period, possibly from 20 January 2020 to 10 July 2023. While the case is still in litigation, there is currently a time limit to file for potential relief based on Kwong (10 July 2026). If you think you might have a tax return affected by the ruling, come by the office; we'll take a look at your situation and talk about your next steps to protect your access to potential relief.

Office hours are Mondays 10-7, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 10-5, and by appointment.
