Boring but important info for Oklahoma residents! For 2018, Oklahoma will only allow a maximum of $17,000 for itemized deductions on the Oklahoma return (with exception of medical and charitable giving).

This has MAJOR RAMIFICATIONS for those who have gambling winnings. In effect, this potentially makes gambling losses unallowable and the entirety of the gambling winnings taxable for Oklahoma purposes. Please pass along!
