Before clients make major investment decisions, I have them ponder this:

If no one else was talking about it, would I still make this decision?

Many investment decisions & mistakes don’t come from bad ideas. They stem from the wrong reasons such as:

1️⃣ Fear of missing out
2️⃣ Headlines spreading hype or fear
3️⃣ Social pressure

Strong investment decisions aren’t that exciting. They actually tend to be pretty boring. Because they are consistent with what is going on with your life, timeline & your plan, without outside noise.

In my experience, a full comprehensive review should happen at least once a year, paired with smaller check-ins throughout the year.

Life changes quickly.

Promotions, job loss, marriage, children, or even changes in tax laws or market conditions can all affect your outlook.

This is why meeting regularly with my clients is a priority. So we can proactively address these life updates & adjust as your circumstances change!
