For Cybersecurity Awareness Month, we’re shining a light on Business Email Compromise (BEC). Scammers may impersonate someone you know or trust to request money, sensitive information or changes to payment instructions.

Watch for unexpected requests, urgent language, suspicious email addresses and changes to payment instructions. When something doesn’t look right, take a moment to verify the request through a trusted source.

Touring the World of Finance at German American Bank!

We enjoyed welcoming students from Greater Jasper Consolidated Schools, Northeast Dubois Jr/Sr High School, Southwest Dubois School Corporation, and Southeast Dubois County School Corporation for an inside look at the world of banking and finance.

Students had the opportunity to learn about personal banking, loans, credit cards, fraud prevention, investments, marketing, and more while gaining a better understanding of how German American works and serves our communities.

We hope this experience helped educate and inspire the next generation as they explore future career opportunities. Thank you for spending time with us, and we wish these students the very best in their future endeavors! ❤

Our Operations Center in Jasper recently came together for a Back-to-School Hygiene Drive to help local students in Dubois County start the school year prepared and confident.

Thanks to the generosity of our team, more than 1,000 essential hygiene items were donated, including soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, shampoo, conditioner, and feminine hygiene products.
