5.0 star review received on Experience.com for Derek Emerson by Jennifer M - I have used loan officer Mr. Derek Emerson twice- the first time for my mortgage to buy a home and now most recently to refinance my mortgage. I refer to him as "the piranha guy" because he is super proactive in getting your business and beating any offer that you've previously received so that you will give him your business!!! He also does an amazing job explaining everything along the way, and once you agree to let him take over your loan, the process goes FAST!!! He wastes no time dilly-dallying around! He gets the job done! He also makes himself very available meaning he doesn't hesitate to call you or text you with updates at each step of the way, and responds quickly- often immediately- to calls, texts, and emails! He and his team are thorough and guide you in the process of obtaining documents, etc. If you need a loan, contact Mr. Derek Emerson! He will get it done for you! As a comparison, I was initially going to use mr. Cooper for my refinance because I had used them to refinance my mortgage on a previous home, but when I spoke to Mr. Emerson who helped me with the buying/mortgage of my current home, he was able to give me a much better deal than mr. Cooper! Mr. Emerson saved me over $6,000 in the refinancing costs compared to what mr. Copper offered me! AND Mr. Emerson and his team got the job done FAST!!!!- like in about 2 weeks!!!! And literally when mr. Copper called me to tell me they were in the process of getting me pre-approved, I was literally already ready to close on my loan with Mr. Emerson!!! Mr. Emerson is a PIRANHA (in a great way) when it comes to getting you the best deal and closing fast!!!! Go to Mr. Emerson for all of your mortgage/refinance/loan needs!!!
