If something unexpected happened tomorrow, would you be financially prepared? 💭💰

My daughter Mia asked a question that comes up all the time: How much money should I have saved in case something goes wrong?

In this father-daughter Q&A, we talk about emergency savings, why access to your money matters, and how that safety net fits into your bigger financial picture.

Car repairs, unexpected bills, a change in income, life happens. Planning for those moments deserves a place in the conversation.

Have a money question you’d like Mia to ask next? Drop it in the comments or send me a message. 👇

Is renting really “throwing money away”? 🏡💭

My daughter Mia is back with another question from the internet: Am I making a mistake if I don’t buy a home?

Homeownership can help build equity and provide stability, but renting doesn’t automatically mean you’re falling behind. You’re paying for a place to live—and buying may not make sense for your situation right now.

In this episode, we talk about renting vs. buying, the potential to invest money you’d otherwise put toward a home, and why the decision comes down to your numbers and goals.

Should you pay off debt first or start investing? 💳📈

My daughter Mia is back for Part 2 of asking me the money questions people are searching for online, and this is a big one.

You want to build your future, but you’re still paying for your past. So where should your money go first?

In this episode, I explain why your debt’s interest rate matters and what to consider before jumping into investing.

Have a question for the next episode? Comment “Mia, ask…” followed by your question below! 👇

40 or 50 with barely anything saved for retirement… is it too late? 👀

My daughter Mia came straight out of the gate with a question that’s on a lot of people’s minds.

As I always say, “Yesterday was better than today, but today is still better than tomorrow.”

Starting later means being more intentional, focused, and disciplined. But feeling behind shouldn’t stop you from taking that first step.

Have a money question you’ve been afraid to ask? Drop it in the comments, and Mia can ask me in our next video. 👇

Worried about what the midterm elections could mean for your money? 🇺🇸

This came up on another client call, and here’s how I look at it:

Your financial goals are the destination. Your plan is the route. If policies change, you may need to adjust the route, but that doesn’t automatically change where you’re trying to go.

Take time to understand what’s changing, how it affects your situation, and whether an adjustment makes sense.

Have questions about your financial plan? Send me a DM. Let’s talk.

Three things I wish I understood when I was younger. 👇

I’ve known Dominick since he was a baby. Now he’s studying finance and asking me what I would do differently if I were starting over.

My answer?

🤝 Build relationships early. Get to know people, stay connected, and invest in your network.

💰 Understand residual income. Learn how to build something that can continue paying you beyond the work you put in today.

⏳ Be intentional with your time. It goes faster than you think, and you don’t get it back.

What’s one lesson you wish you had learned sooner? Let me know below. 👇

He worked as a janitor and left $6 MILLION to a hospital and library. 🤯

Ronald Read’s story is extraordinary. But the question it raises applies to all of us: when your income grows, does every extra dollar become another monthly payment, or does some go toward your future?

There’s room to enjoy life today while building something for tomorrow. That balance matters.

What would you want your money to make possible for you? More time with family? Travel? A legacy? Tell me below. 👇
