Who we are

HWA is a minority-owned and controlled certified public accounting firm located in Independence, Ohio with additional offices in Westerville, Ohio and Cebu City, Philippines. The firm has a staff of fifteen (15) trained professionals with many years of audit experience in the governmental and not-for-profit sectors as well as a host of business partners and consultants.

The firm currently serves clients in several industries, including not-for-profit, employee benefit plans, state and local government, and elderly and low-income housing. Over 80% of our present engagements represent services to not-for-profit agencies funded by federal, state, and local sources.

HWA has also served the construction and real estate development industries since its inception. We have provided a variety of services to community development corporations, real estate developers, contractors, and syndicators.
