Tax Time Services etc~Tax Prep and Bookkeeping Closed on Thursday and Friday. My goal is to get the taxpayer the largest refund while preparing a factual and correct return the first time.

I feel my prices are very reasonable in this area. I also do bookkeeping for the small business owner and offer bill pay(check writing or internet pay) for people who need help in this area. This Spring (2014 I hope to offer budgeting services.

Letters have been sent out to all current clients explaining how things will be working this tax season. If any of you feel you are not able to comply with what I need to do for tax season, that is fine and I completely understand.

Happy New Year! 🎊 2026 has arrived! As some of you may know we had a house fire on the 21st of Dec. We are trying to get all the necessities taken care of before tax season gets in full gear. I am planning on doing taxes in my little shed beside my garage at our normal address on Cherry St. I will have a locked drop box for drop offs on the shed porch. Hopefully by mid January we will be up and running. If u need to contact me please call 618-843-8185. The regular office phone is not working yet. We hope you have had an absolutely wonderful Christmas and looking forward to the new year of 2025! We are and as the year comes in so does the 2024 tax season! I do not know yet when the first efile transmissions can be sent but I think our first day open will be Jan 21, 2025. That is a Tuesday. Normally our days open will be Mon, Tues and Wed. 10am - 4 pm. As of right now I am not taking on any new clients. Please make sure you have all of your documents before bringing them. As always there will be a drop box out for your convenience anytime! 2023 tax season is almost to a close. I am still catching up on returns from my being out of the office for a bit but we can still get your return in and probably done. If not we can file an extension. Mon thru Wed, 10-4 or the drop box is on the porch. I am planning on being open Sat , April 13, 9 -11 am for pickups.

2023 Tax Season is just about to get started! We will open for business on Monday January 22. Hours are as last year, open from 10 am to 4 pm, Monday thru Wednesday. Thankful tax season is over and that I have such great clients. Many of you have expressed your wish for me to continue doing what I do. So in order to do that I need some rest. I am taking a long break to recoup, catch up with friends and family and get some much needed time away with my husband, who is awesome to put up with me during tax season! Therefor I will be unavailable until next tax season for work. Thanks for a great season! You guys are the best!

As of this afternoon, the governor has extended the filing season IL until July 15. However this office will not be open that long.

I checked this morning on the IL web site as well as several Tax Pro sites and as far as I can tell IL State Income tax has NOT been extended. Only the penalty for late sales tax filing has been waved. Therefore you need to go ahead and file your Federal return as normal. You need to figure it before a state tax return can be filed. This is how my office will operate. We are handling things by mail as well as in the office signing. All sanitizing procedures are done accordingly. My office will NOT be open until July 15.
