April is National Financial Literacy Month… and honestly, this is something I’m really passionate about.
Financial education is not something most of us were ever taught… yet we’re expected to make some of the biggest decisions of our lives without truly understanding our options. That gap can lead to costly mistakes, unnecessary stress, and missed opportunities.
One of the ways I try to give back is by offering free educational workshops to the community.
If you’re part of a church, civic group, nonprofit, or any organization that wants to bring value to its members… I’d love to help.
Some of the topics I cover include:
• Divorce survival and financial planning
• Medicare and Social Security explained
• Retirement income strategies
• Tax planning and Roth IRA strategies
• Understanding 401(k) rollovers
• Budgeting and getting financially fit
• Estate planning basics
• Helping aging parents
• Investing basics (including for women)
• First-time home buying and refinancing
• Credit and financial pitfalls to avoid
• Long-term care planning
…and more
These are educational, no-pressure conversations designed to help people feel more confident and informed about their financial future.
If your organization is looking to host something like this… feel free to message me or reach out directly.
Let’s make financial education more accessible… it truly changes lives.
