Many businesses have applied for and received funds from the Payroll Protection Program. Guidelines on loan forgiveness continues to change from Congress, the Treasury Department, and the SBA. Please reach out if you need assistance to calculate loan forgiveness, to complete the loan forgiveness application, or to provide the required documentation.

The new tax filing deadline is now July 15th. Returns must be filed by that date or an extension must be filed. Even if an extension is filed, taxes are still due by July 15th in order to avoid interest and penalties. Also, 1st and 2nd quarter estimated tax payments are also due July 15th. Now that November is here, it is time to start seriously thinking about tax planning. Now is a great time to review your retirement plan contributions. Maximum elective deferrals to 401(k) plans are $19,000 plus an additional $6,000 for those aged 50 and older.
