You need to know about these OBBB tax updates before you file:

→ A deduction of up to $25,000 of qualifying tips that phases out for higher earners.

→ A deduction of up to $12,500 (or $25,000 filing jointly) for qualifying overtime pay that phases out for higher-income filers.

→ A deduction of up to $10,000 in eligible interest paid on a loan for a vehicle that meets all qualifying criteria; this deduction also phases out for higher earners.

→ Higher standard deductions + an additional senior deduction.

As a business, not only are you responsible for sending out any 1099s, but there’s a good chance you’re going to be receiving one (or more)!

👉 Swipe to learn the steps I recommend following for each 1099 you receive (because the last thing you want to do is lose one of them in your mail or inbox).

If you get to step 3 and find your books are waaay off from the 1099s you’re getting, that’s a red flag. 🚩
