Slow down, grasshopper 😌

Yes, tax advances are available this Friday, but don’t rush to file just yet. Filing too early without all of your documents is one of the biggest mistakes people make.

If you miss a form and submit your return, the IRS can flag it, delay your refund, or worse, assess penalties and say you owe money you didn’t plan for.

Remember, companies have until the end of January to send out tax documents. That includes W2s, 1099s, and other income forms.

Before you file, double-check that nothing is missing. Being patient for a few extra days can save you months of headaches. Filing fast isn’t smart if filing right isn’t happening.

This mistake is way more common than people realize.

If you’re waiting to “make money first” before setting up your LLC and EIN you’re already behind.
