There have been two different disaster relief extensions for Texas.

1. April 2024 Severe Storms Relief : Federal tax return and other payments deadlines are extended to November 1, 2024.

2. July 2024 Hurricane Beryl Relief: Federal tax if they had a valid extension until February 3, 2025.

To qualify, you must have an address of record located in the disaster area.

IRS CONTINUES TO LEVY WITHOUT NOTICE

So yet on another case, I have a client who admittedly is not responsive, who just had a new revenue officer take the case. This new revenue office knows us from another case, has the info about us being the poa from the case file, plus we pulled transcripts so the poa is on file at the IRS CAF unit. Instead of calling us, the new R.O. just files a bank levy. I know other practitioners this is happening to. This abuse of the law ought to stop before we get a new change of guard, don't you think?

"Only twenty seven dollars" AM I CRAZY?
I wanted to sell my course which include a month of group meetings for $195-$995 as each course is listed. Then my wife said, "why not $27. a month. Just give it away. Then more people will know about you and see how much you can help them. Then, when they need help, they can block out time on your calendar, or hire you at your regular rates. This way, your customers will already know and trust you. "
I think she is right. Spending decades, not doing recurring bookkeeping and tax services, has left us without many repeat customers. After showing people how to effectively avoid IRS problems, they often don't repeat what caused them to have the problems. I was always left with finding new people who have IRS problems. I talk to people to get leads. I have done all kinds of things on line from black hat to white SEO. But I wound up, and still do, pitch to people who have no idea of the proprietary methods of tax resolution I've developed over decades. For example, I can cut corporate payroll tax liability in half, without filing an offer or bankruptcy. Only one other person I knew of did this. He's been retire for a while now. I have no competition in this, but I don't advertise it much. I'm afraid the IRS might push back too much.
